I have a 95-96 MIM strat and I am looking to put in a BPNCS to get rid of the buzz. I know the middle pickup is RWRP, and I believe these are ceramic, but want to confirm. Also does anyone know the resistance of the pickups.

THanks!

Assuming that it's a Standard Strat, then they are indeed ceramic pickups. BTW, in order for the BPNCS to work in all positions, you'll have to get rid of the RW/RP middle pickup. Just out of curiosity; have you considered just replacing the stock pups with some sort of noiseless or stacked coil option? Of course if you want to keep your sound as-is, then by all means try the back plate noise cancelling system.

Thanks for your input! And yes, I like my sound currently, and do not want to mess with it on THIS guitar. As far as the BPNCS, you can get it noise cancelling for all positions....I am speaking with their reps, and even on the website...."3.Three Single Coil pickups, RWRP Middle, 5-way 4-pole Super switch. Hum canceling on all 5 positions."

Indeed. Did that before and got 6.70-6.75 for all of them which makes it pretty apparent I need the standard BPNCS.
