Are the 2 point bridges better than the 6 point ones?
I have a 2007 strat, I'm not sure of the model, with a 2 point bridge.
I thought it was a standard, but, the head is like my 1976 strat. The Stratocaster name is curved to the right instead of being straight across.

I'll try to get some pictures, but I know it is a 2007, made in USA
The made in the USA is on the back or the head, next to the serial #

The guy I got it from didn't know. He had replaced the pickgaurd and put in a couple mother buckers. I tried to put it back more original with the white pickgaurd, and a few hot ceramic pickups I had laying around. It looks like the Clapton "brownie" guitar.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, we're going to need photos. The American Series guitars had the 2-post trem but didn't have a large headstock, and the Highway 1 had the large headstock but had a 6-screw trem. It's kind of sounding to me like a parts guitar with an American Series body with a Highway 1 neck but we need photos to be sure.

Thanks, that is exactly what I was thinking.
The guy I got if from, however, claimed he bought it new, and only changed the pickups.
That being said, I'm not sure how in touch with reality he was, if you know what I mean.
Regardless, it's a really nice playing guitar, and I like the sound of the hot ceramic pickups.
I'll get some pictures in the next day or so.
