Hello

I have question for you guys (and ladies) - I need to know, does this strat is a real deal? The guy who's selling it to me is asking ridiculously low price. He either doesnt know what he is selling or he's just trying to scam me. It's too good to be true, but you never know. Here are photos (I know they arent too big, I couldnt get better, sorry).

Ask for serial nr, its on the back of the headstock. Some pictures of the back of the guitar would be helpful too.

Looks legit- I think its a Deluxe Players Strat.

Not to confuse the 'Deluxe' series with 'American Deluxe' however.

It's a Deluxe Players Strat, there's the push-push button which activates the bridge pickup in positions 4 & 5 from the 5-way switch for a wider array of tonal options.

That is indeed a Deluxe Players Strat, I have one in "crimson transparent". Maybe I got lucky, but this is a fine instrument and speaks well for the MIM product. And it stays in tune! Characteristics:
--tortoise shell pickguard
--gold-toned hardware (tuners, string tree, bridge, saddles, input jack, tremelo arm, strap buttons, all screws except for those on the saddles, and neck plate; in fact, every visible piece of metal on the guitar save for the blade switch, bridge block, and pickup pole pieces)
--vintage tuners
--push-push switch which allows for every possible pickup combination on a strat
--Fender noiseless pickups

It comes in four color choices, each having the option of either a maple or rosewood fretboard.

Has the tiny "Made in Mexico" decal below the Fender logo, and the MX serial number on the back of the headstock.

Don't know what price the guy is asking, but this guitar can currently be had new for $649.99 (pre-discount) at any retailer or online.
