Hello all, i have a white 1993 MIM strat that i picked up for $250. It was rough when i got it but not bad. I pulled it apart and cleaned it up. After i got it together i really liked the way it felt but i wanted to mod it. I generally keep all my guitars stock and super clean so this is my perfect candidate to "go crazy". I bought come shielding paint and .047au caps from Stewie mac. Then i bought the Pro-Tube lipstick pickups from GFS and also got a killswitch from Radio shack. I completely pulled it apart and have shielded the cavity completely. Now i am starting the rewire. The killswitch is going to replace the second tone knob so when it is complete it will only have 1 volume and 1 tone with the killswitch in the middle. I recorded video of the before sound and will put up the comparison upon completion. Just wanted to share
