Jimi played a 22-fret Strat at Woodstock?

In that case, I must have a bogus DVD.

Me too! Mine shows a maple cap neck, no plug. :o

Still, a nice looking guitar. :)

+1

Jimi played 21-fret Strats.

22-fret necks on Stratocasters and Telecasters didn't came into surface until the early-to-mid 1980s.

The guitar in question is a partscaster with an American Special neck mounted into a flipped upside down Olympic White alder body.

For better results stick a set of CS '69s.

That neck pocket is WAY too tight.

All the best,

Actually, it's just a right handed guitar, left-handed stringing, with the strap button moved to the other horn, just as Jimi had.

Looks cool. What was the two year wait for? This isn't a Custom Shop, is it?
