As far as I can tell there are currently only three Strats in production which have a hardtail bridge.

  • Wayne Kramer Signature Strat® American Vintage hard-tail string-through-body bridge,
  • Robert Cray Stratocaster® vintage-style hard-tail bridge
  • Jim Root Stratocaster® 6-Saddle Strings-Thru-Body Tele®

The 360-degree feature is not available for the Wayne Kramer Strat so I can't see what's happening in the back, but the strings on the RC and JM signature Strats are through the body. What is the difference between the bridges on these two Strats?

Also, can someone please explain the difference between a "Hardtail Tech-Tonic Bridge" and a "Hardtail Vintage Bridge"?

Thanks & Cheers!
BM

The Wayne Kramer and Robert Cray both seem to have the same bridge. Just the Wayne Kramer one looks "aged" or roadworn.

The Wayne Kramer one is a string-through body like a Telecaster.
