I'm new here and on Craigslist someone is selling a 50th anniversary MIM strat in cream color for $250
Claims it has a few minor cracks and comes with gig bag this is the post:

well, it's one of the black label strats from the time, that usually say squier series on the headstock. Some people like them. The have cheaper tuners, saddles, and electronics than the MIM standards. I bought one once for $75 with a case. I wouldn't buy one for that much. I might pay that much for a standard strat if I was in the market for one.

yeah those 2 are MIM standard strats, can usually get them in my area for between $200-$300. I try to pick them up in the $100-$150 range.

This whole 50th Anniv. Sticker thing has been written about before, but for your own knowledge, there's nothing special about that guitar. So no, it's not too good to be true. It's just a MIM Strat made during the Fender's 50th Anniv.

The price is about right. If you like, buy it.

That's right, so-called "diamondback" tuner casings. They work fine, but they're a bit bottom-of-the-range.

I agree with what folks have said: it's roughly the right price for that guitar.
