None of both!
I prefer fir trees, so I don't have to clean my garden from leaves in autumn! They also don't look like skeletons in winter, they look green and nice even in winter.

Either. Or maple, or Basswood or concrete.

Whatever makes a guitar sound good to me, and plays nice.

If understand.

Ask for the ASH or ALDER, as they are the most used timber in the Fender Custom Shop

If this question has been asked once, it has been asked a trillion times before. Do a search of the forum. Minimum effort get limited return I believe someone on here has said in the past.

I'm partial to mahogany myself.
