if you're lucky it's a squier with a fake decal, but it's probably just a chinese fake.

I'm sure it's nothing you'd want to take home to meet your parents.

Hey Jason, are you going to the guitar show in Tempe this year?

I just got an e-mail about it......23 March (a Saturday). Mike Eldred and his band will be playing. Same venue as last year.

I don't know, it's a good 100 mile round trip from me, and it's usually a little on the smaller side right?

I wouldn't mind checking out Mike's band, and seeing if there's any good deals out there. Maybe I can find a small low watt tube amp or something.

You ever go to this site?
http://www.ducksdeluxe.com/ddevents.html
They list a bunch of different guitar shows and there's usually about 1 a month in the Phoenix area.

Well, it's absolutely a fake...no doubt about that in my mind at all. That said, while it's -really- had to tell from those screwed up pics, to my eyes, it really looks like a Squier Bullet that someone just changed the headstock decals on. The pic of the body looks identical to the Bullet I had picked up a couple years back on a whim (sold it to a charity auction) and the extra holes in the headstock would confirm that it had cheap covered tuners...which the Bullet had.

Now that said, I do have to completely disagree with Magnatone there...if it plays well and there's no other issues with it, I might go as high as $40...maybe $50 tops if it's otherwise flawless :-)

Peace,
Jim

A cousin of mine often uses the expression, "wouldn't pay a nickel for train load of 'em". Looks like this falls into that category.

Thanks for the feedback.

Cheers,
