Hi Everybody,

I just got a new C600 and am thrilled to bits over the clean sound, which is really what I bought it for. The cranked dirty sound, and OD pedals, not so much. But I have my Blackstar HT-1 + 4x8 cab for that, and may look into mods down the track.

However, the amp seems to have some basic design flaws that I haven't seen any other complaints about on the web. I was wondering if these are normal:

- It hums when on (I gather this is normal), but also hums when off, albeit much quieter. This is really annoying as I have to unplug it completely to stop it drawing power. Why doesn't the on/off switch actually switch it off?
- The power cord is really short, ie. 2ft. Really?
- The control panel gets really hot when running. There is also a feint burning smell.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
