Looks blonde to me, like the Mary Kay blonde color.
Or it may be vintage white...which was like an aged or yellowed olympic white. It was offered for a while on a few strats.

I can't give a definate answer, as I'm color blind to a certain degree.

I'm guessing yours seems more intense with the lighting and that shot.

Seems this was a popular one in '87. I've not seen them called Blonde, just plain cream.

Mine's very similar, but Japanese

I'd say it is vintage white.

Vintage white is supposed to look like aged olympic white.
Olympic white get's a creamy yellowish teint after a couple of years.

I don't know if the pictures can show the difference, they were shot at different times with different lighting. If I find the time, I will take a picture of them one next to the other.

Blonde (My American Buddy Guy):

The bridge-position Gold Sensor has been exchanged for a scorching hot Red.

Thank you for the replies. The colour is the same under the pic guard. I know it's not graffiti yellow. Maybe mellow yellow? I put a red sensor in the bridge and a sliver in the neck. Glad I joined this forum. There is a wealth of info here.

Definitely it's a Vintage White Strat Plus, or at least an Olympic White Plus which has been faded to Vintage White.

Thought id chime in :)

The Strat Plus was issued in either Arctic White and Vintage White. It most certainly is not arctic, it is an obvious Vintage White.

For further info on Strat Plus colours, check out http://xhefriguitars.com/page2.html#C13

Nice guitar too by the way, I have the same model in Carribean Mist. One of the great Strat models!!

Thank you for the link Blertles. A rainbow of colors. It looks like mine is Vintage White with a large splash of yellow thrown in. Anyway it's a keeper as you know.

Is that I see a wilkinson "split" nut I see? You don't see those too often! It is a sign you have there one of the early models! :D
