Hi guys,
I'm new here,
I'm just wondering could anyone tell me how much an original 1964 strat is worth?
Thanks,
Owen.

I've been seeing them online for between $17K - $19+K.

If you are looking at buying one I would do your research before buying. I would also have the owner take the guitar apart.

Nice! Pictures? Would love to see it...

Got a story? How do you come to own it? Do you play it or is it a show piece?

A '64 Strat stripped down to natural finish.

The value will take a hit because of the finish,... or lack thereof.

I would go on but I've already exhausted my knowledge of vintage guitar valuations.

:P

+1!

You ain't gonna see no major five-figure offers for it.

Assuming all else is original and you have the OHSC and perhaps some of the case candy, you *might* see $8.5K to $9K for it.

JMOOC, YMMV

That "other forum" is the best place for him.

He doesn't know what he's talking about.
