Just a few dimensional mistakes, not to mention that it looks like it was assembled in 15 minutes.

That's an interesting comment.

How can you tell that the length of time involved in the assembly and what should be the proper assembly time?

Fake!

Partsocaster, I'd say.

Cheap trem.
Misplaced Fender logo.
Strangely shaped headstock.
Serial number exists but that doesn't prove a thing. The letters/figures are too bold. Looks like a replacement decal oversprayed with clear paint.
Symmetric screw layout on backplate.
Pickguard looks like DIY.
Backplate not original.
Switch tip on 5-way-switch has typical Asian shape (very pointy in comparison to original)

Is the Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster® the only Strat with a scalloped fretboard? I think it is but I may be wrong. If so then this is defintely NOT a Yngwie Malmsteen model.

Cheers!

No I believe Ritchie Blackmore's is also a scalloped neck

Where would you like me to start ....   :?:

Lets take the copy 1st .....

(1) Headstock is too long from nut to low E string post
(2) Tuners are Squier Series
(3) Trem bridge is also a Squier series . note the cast / polished saddles
(4) Nut is cut into the neck too far up towards 1st fret.
(5) Decal is skewed and incorrect font
(6) "original " script is screwed up.
(7) Also the tuners are installed haphazardly they are not square to each other.
(8) Backplate has F logo
(9) Headstock does not have correct serial placement or signature
(10) pups are noiseless

An Yngwie Strat would be

(1) Large 70's headstock
(2) Fender tuners F series from 70's the tuners cases are oblong not square.
(3) Trem is vintage with pressed saddles.
(4) Pickguard would be parchment white or close but definitely not cheap tortoise.
(5) Pickups are Seymour Duncan YJM Fury
(6) signature on headstock
(7) Neck truss is a bullet between nut and low E tuner
(8) Neck plate does not have Fender logo
(9) serial number is across back of headstock

15 minutes to assemble was just to describe all the misalignment issues with the above list.
I would also guess the body is a Squier since it looks thinner than a standard Fender body
Squier is 1" 5/8 versus a standard is 1" 3 /4 in thickness. This is why the trem is a Squier, a normal Fender trem does not fit in the shallower Squier cavity.....

It's unfortunate that so many people have no way of realizing fakes from real but it is usually easy to spot at the lower price points since visual cues seem off or misplaced...

EDIT ...I just also noticed that the volume and tone controls are not where they should be, the space between Neck and Mid / Bridge tone is closer than Volume to Neck tone. the Volume itself is farther from pickup than normal..THis tells me this was a pick guard blank made to fit...

As far as just assembly time, you are talking about at least a week, not including finish and other critically important details to pull off a fake Yngwie.
This is a fail, sort of like a 250 GTO replica body over a Pontiac Fiero chassis ....

You are correct, Magnatone. :!:

Thanks for adding the Ritchie Blackmore Stratocaster to my Strats-To-Play list.

Cheers!

+1000!

I've seen phony presidential birth certificates that looked more authentic.

Yes, it is a fake but the first Malmsteen model had a small headstock.

All the best,
Robin
