nice job, but i do not see the trem hole on any of SRV's guitars, why is yours showing.?
i know his was a righty guitar with a lefty trem on it,
yours is the same just flipped, but with the trem hole showing.
maybe he had his routed for the flipped trem and not used a stock body.?

The hole is not there in the last picture. I have made a plug for it and I am in the process of staining it to the right color. Don't want to get it too dark too fast. Just darkening it a little at a time.

SRV did route his righty guitar for a lefty trem but he put a plug in the exposed hole.

You absolutely did a great job, outstanding.

Thanks. I can't buy one in a lefty, so I decided to make my own. It has been a fun project...but as I said I do woodworking for a living so that makes it even more enjoyable.

Have a GREAT DAY everyone!!!! Cya......

Update:
My work is now done...she was dropped off at the luthier on Monday. Should get her back in about a week. :D

Talked with him last night for about 45 minutes after he looked her and the parts over. He was impressed with the work and said she's gonna sound great! He was worried when he found out he had another one of those " I built my own guitar customers" projects to do. Most are really in rough shape he said. Glad I was not on that side of the list after all the work and time I put in. 8)
