Post subject: need help to understand if this is normal ?

hi i have a new Fender strat Americain standards and today after playing i saw inside the first and last pickups ( i mean inside this 6 points on the pickup )some dry white glue ( i guess maybe it s glue ) and i would like to know if it s normal to have this on one new Fender strato ? and if i should move it or let it ? and thanks for the help . :D

Could be adhesive protection foil.
New guitars have transparent plastic foil on pickguards, pickup covers, even on the back of the tuners sometimes.

It is to prevent new shiny parts from being scratched before being sold.

Simply pull it off.

thanks for the answer :) , but i did look again und it looks like dry glue and not a foil from plastic because it could be brocken und becomes like a dry powder . and it s inside around this 6 points on the pickup . thanks again .

Completed pickup assemblies are sprayed with a clear lacquer to seal the coil and protect the winding from corrosion and other foreign contaminants. It usually peels away from the tops of the metal pickup poles in the manner you've described. It's nothing to worry about.

The dry powder you see under the pickguard and in the guitar body cavities is buffing compound.
