Just got my new Fender Mexico Standard Strat HSS with rosewood fingerboard. The surface or rosewood has lots of unfilled grooves along the whole neck. This may be structure of wood, but I do not see it that bad on my other two guitars (acoustic Høfner HF12 and semi-acoustic Jbanez Montage). See the image below - is it something which is not normal? May create problem with bends, will be filled with dirt, may act as a points of cracking...

Please advise if it should be changed/returned, but I am very satisfied with this guitar otherwise.

That's perfectly fine! Don't worry!

Wood has grains, which clearly show when the wood is not finished.
Rosewood fretboards are generally not finished (maple fretboards are!).
So it is absolutely normal to see those grains in your fretboard, it's the natural structure of the wood.

There's also different kinds of rosewood, so on one guitar you see them, on others you hardly see them.

Looks perfectly normal to me - you'll quite often see the same on rosewood boarded instruments costing ten times what a Mexican Strat does. :D
