hi fellas,

i'm from malaysia. i have recently sprayed my vintage reissue that i've bought last time. i was told that only vintage fenders (mostly pre cbs)has 100 percent nitro paint.. therefore, i stripped this guitar paint..

and nitrocellulose paint work with NOS stained out surface by a local luthier..

man, it really improves my guitar tone a lot. do anybody has some idea on how much they charge in states for this kind of work?

I have no idea how much it costs to do that in the states. From the pic it looks like your guy did a great job with that relic paint job.

I don't know about cost . But I'm sure to have a pro do that kind of work It would be alot.. He did a beautiful job on that sweet guitar.. Have fun jim

It would depend on where in the U.S. you check. I have seen a complete and repaint go for around $500+
