just bought a mexician strat 60 anniversary i am having a few issues with the intonnation on the g and b strings, any help? also i was wondering if anybody has any information on removing springs from the tremolo system in the back of the guitar to make the bridge sit off the body of the guitar? what effect does this have on the guitar in terms of tunning, intonnation, string hight, etc.?

Better to adjust the trem-claw tension than to remove springs. If your bridge needs more "float" loosen the trem-claw screws equally until your bridge plate has achieved sufficient height.
