Got a great deal on a Brand New Fender American Standard Stratocaster
Went looking on the Hello Music web site last night and saw a hot looking Strat
in Charcoal Frost Metallic finish for $849.00
Then I did a tad of looking and found a $100 off Coupon(Saturday100}
and it brought my Stratocaster down to $749,,,But kindaaa sucks while I was checking
out since they added another $33 in Delivery.(Then I thought wait till Music123 opens tomorrow}
Today wokup early and called Music123 and they matched the Price
of $749 and gave me a 123% discount,Final price was $691.28
I really did not need another Guitar since I just bought and waiting for my New Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Gold Top that I hope to have by Fri or Next Monday.
Andways I thought the guitar had a Few good features like the
Custom Shop Fat 50s Strat Neck/Middle/Bridge pickups.
This is the last of my Guitar shopping this year unless I find another guitar
that I cannot refuse in buying babyyyyy...........JT

What I do now is look for the best of deals and have Music123 Match the Prices and get that extra 123% discount.(just don't know how much longer they will give 123% discounts}....JT

That's an awesome deal. And this is why I feel that the American Special isn't such a great value. Don't get me wrong; I think that they are excellent guitars and I am not bashing them but at that price point, I feel that you may as well spend a little more and get the American Standard or do a little research and get a great deal (as you did) that beats the price of a new American Special.

Fender American Special come with a Gig bad (Yukkk}
And I have seen American specials can go for $699 and up towards $799.
Its funny I was not even thinking of buying the American Statard Start for $$849,,then I remembered the $100 off Coupon for anything over $800.(coupon SATURDAY100 for Hellomusic} then I wanted to buy it for $749 butt I hated to pay the $33 shipping and
so I felt lets see what Music123 would give me,,,,well the price got a lot better...........JT

Yeah, we love Europe, don´t we?
On the other side if you are American and you like European made amps like Marshall, ENGL, Diezel you have a problem as well.

Cheers,
Robin

Are you serious ? Now it´s time to immigrate to the U.S. of America.
I think 2013 would be a very nice year for that.
Europe is going down anyway.

Cheers,
Robin

Good deals around. I was browsing for 2 weeks online on our Long and McQuade websites for stock in my local store (17 mile $100 Ferry ride and 45 minutes drive) and was ready to buy but uncertain as to which guitar. Turns out the online things not very accurate because I saw several guitars Fenders not listed there on sale for all to see. INCLUDING, a American standard 2011 Orphan with no case. Brand new and with all warranties. $945 Canadian before taxes. (The 2012's are $1150) In the same exact colors as my Dads old 1957 strat I grew up playing. Burst/Maple. I got lucky and got me foot in the door. I bought the extended warranty too. The universe smiles upon us.

Could you explain that? If you were to get a 123% discount, they would have to pay you to take the guitar. A 100% discount would be free, and another 23% would have been paid to you.
