Well, you liked my sharpie-pickguard, now I'm working on a Fender body.
Let me know what you think, please!!

I've got the front completed.
Should I do the sides and the back as well??

I personally think so, it would look much better, I think.

Please be patient with further steps, I'm rather busy at the moment. I'll post more pics as the project goes on....

When finished, it will have all black hardware (pickupcovers, knobs, switch tip, trem, tuners...)
It'll be clearcoated as well to protect the painting.

Smoking Frets...I am digging this. Kind of reminds me of the Cream Wheels of Fire Album cover. You certainly have a talent and you have a fairly unique medium to do it on!

And, Yes, do the whole guitar, would be really cool especially if the designs wrap around from front to sides to the back. Go for it.

Pretty wild, very nice job! FWIW I would do the sides and back, clear coating to save you work is a good idea. Look forward to seeing your updated photos

I'm picking up some SRV vibes from that. Don't know why, but I'll bet if he was around he'd like it. Nice work.

That looks totally cool!!! I love well-done art guitars. I used to do a fair amount of Sharpie art back in the day. You may have inspired me to try it on one of my guitar bodies.

I'm still amazed that all of that detail was done with a sharpie. So cool.

Very unique and cool looking. Full guitar would be great. I really like the look.

Cheers,

That looks great! Definitely keep going. I think I would vote for keeping the white pick guard also.
