Hi all, my first post here. Just a little bit about myself, I'm 36 and have been playing for about 20 years. I come from a "shred" metal background (hey, it was the '80's) but have been primarily playing acoustic for the past few years. I'm getting an "electric itch" and the fat, humbucker sound just doesn't do it for me anymore. I've realized the sound I desire comes from a Strat. I like Ritchie Blackmore, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix etc. It's that "sound". You know what I mean :D

Which leads me to my question. There is an American Vintage Natural Rosewood model available. Serial #0100070821 for those interested. Anyway, I really like it but I'm very anal. I'd like a "natural" fretboard, this has the dark hue. I couldn't find it on the site. Does anyone know where I can get one? Could I change the color of the fretboard? I really don't know anything about modding. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, it's nice to be here.

Yes, that's the neck. But I like the natural body look as well. (I should have specified that). Thanks for the response.

You can always strip the body down or buy an aftermarket body.
