Musiciansbuy.com sent me an E-mail announcing my 12 string Strat shipped! :D :D
I'm very excited.... DUH!
It was due to ship in early June but it's coming way early! Way to go Fender and Musicansbuy.com! Just waiting on Fed Ex Ground now!
I got a killer deal on the western tooled case and the axe too.
It's my first Fender sunburst; with the white pickguard.
Does anyone know where I can hear standard Fender Strat pickups next to aftre market models? Like a side by side comparison?
I have read that Custom Shop Texas Specials pickups are pretty popular on this axe.
   Hey fender and you after market guys: How about comparison audio on the "came with" pickups vs. what you offer on your websites?
Seems to me that would help your customers make better informed decisions and bring them back for more....
Play them through popular amps with NO effects and with popular effects or have it interactive....

Hello Dna9656,

Congrats on you new axe and that
western tooled case. Man, I really could go
for one of those cases. Maybe ones in the future
if I play my Karma thing right. :D

Cheers.

Enjoy....but play it for awhile before you start the plastic surgery. Try a little Botox on the wrinkles first

I played one of those in a store a little while back--if I had the cash on me--I'd have walked out with it. I like 12 strings. I like my acoustic 12 string--but would like an electric one. Well if I win a contest I recently entered, the 12 string Strat is a possibility.

Who said I wanted to sound like Petty--I want to sound like me. I don't need a Rick to do that. (Not that I'd turn down a truly free one.)
