Hey guys!

What can a original black -88 62RI be worth? The only thing I know is that a new pickguard has been glued on to the original...

Thanks for any help

 Its not very nice but not ugly either. Its the black one resting in the hardcase. Are their good guitars? Good pu's? wood etc? mia in 1988 means that they might have been built by people later going into Fender Custom shop?

I think it's just a 4 ply pearloid pickguard instead of the original. It's probably worth $1000 depending on your area.

This guitar have nothing special IMO

How is the fret wear ?

I'm sure it's not worth $1000 ( in USA or Canada )

Hi, alright perhaps I should pass. Not sure about the fret wear. will ask the guy.

I know this is a hard one but...which guitar is your favourite then? I play Fender strat contemporary mij-86 which is a great guitar, so well built but Im suffering a bit because of the thin neck profile. I like v-necks and older guitars. Will probably buy a guitar soon so just want to hear what you guys think. 54ri perhaps? It should be a guitar that is overlooked and not too pricey but still a killer guitar.

This one?

I reckon about £30

This one though

In that condition, at that age. I reckon you're looking at nearer £1500.

+1

Perhaps a skosh more, overseas.
