Hello!

I own a Mexican Fender H/S/S Strat. About three or four months ago I changed the bridge pickup to a Seymour Duncan SHR-1 Hot Rail and must admit, the pickup sounds very nice.
I'm thinking about changing my bridge pickup next because I'd like a better tone for that; I'm going to maybe buy a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB.
What would you suggest?

Thank you.

I play mostly HSS formatted Strats and I've had great luck with the Vintage Powered DiMarzio humbuckers (36th Anniv. PAF and Air Classic) and DiMarzio Area series of noiseless Strat pickups.
The Areas are some of the best sounding replacement pickups I've ever owned!
DiMarzio's humbuckers are equally as great.
NO disappointments whatsoever!

You think those would be good even though I have a SHR-1 Seymour Duncan on neck?
Thank you!!

Yeah should be fine. Though Dimarzio humbuckers (which is exactly what the Area pickups are) are out of phase with Seymour Duncan pickups. So you need to wire them ground as hot and hot as ground.

Ground to hot
Hot to ground
Okay, I'll try to remember that, a bit odd, but I'll trust it.
Thank you!

It's just that Dimarzio and Seymour build their pickups the opposite way round to each other. Nothing strange about it, just one of them quirks that builders incorporate for no other reason than to be quirky, as far as I can tell. It certainly never deterred anyone from mixing the two.
Who knows, you may like having an out of phase sound were you to wire all pickups as their drawings show. I do, on my Les Paul.

People have been mixing pickups made by different companies since the replacement pickup market started (1970's). I don't have one guitar with a complete set of matching pickups all made by the same company. Except one, that I never play and only bought to sell at a later date.
Why have someone else tell you what you can and can't have?

+1 here.
I put a PAF in my bridge and it has a nice full sound.

and to support the wiring advice:
I just jumped in and wired it one-for-one based on the stock humbucker I took out...
...oops!...
...you think by now I would read the spec sheet...

DiMarzio Super Distortion-really fattens up the sound.
