Hey people, I'm planning on putting a '93 MIJ squier series fender strat neck on my old, old squier affinity body (20th anniversary, if it makes a difference) as a bit of an upgrade. It isnt going to be arriving until the new year so does anybody know if this neck will actually fit? Is there a high chance that the neck pocket will not be deep enough? And is there a big difference in scale sizes?

Scale must be ok , pocket not sure , screw hole , not sure. You have to try it is the only answer.

It should fit well if it's a four screw neck. Fender/Squier has not changed the specs on neck pockets in a long time.

I think it will fit. if no, a little of touch-up will do fine. The same goes with pickups, not all fit in original pickup holes

Thanks for the replies. I guess i'll probably get a new body at some point soon due to its smaller size anyway!
