I am wondering if anyone could tell me about my Fender strat plus Serial Number N554199 the color is a dark grey metalic and fades to the outside (starburst) to more of a silver. Was told it is an Eric Clapton edition. It is in great condition and plays amazing.
I think it is from 1995 or 1996. I am wondering what it would be worht also.

Sounds like it could be a silverburst strat. There's no such thing as a Clapton Strat plus.

You're right about it being a 95-96 based on the serial number. You can probably get at least $700 for it, maybe up to $1000. Could tell you more if we had pics.

The Clapton has the MDX midrange boost circuit which requires a battery.

Strat Pluses sport a standard tone control for the neck pickup and the TBX for the middle/bridge pickups.

Over the years many guitarists modded their Pluses and Ultras with a Clapton circuit.
