So earlier today I took my amp across the country to have a footswitchable dual master volume mod put onto it.
Yes, I'm paying someone to work on my amp. shock horror.

ANYWAY
I get to try the guys amps out. He's going to be selling them soon. I think these things have the best clean sound I've ever heard. It flawed me. Treble response, clarity is second to non. Excellent presence as the notes are left to ring out. Then a nice slow natural taper off.

If you're after a nice 100watter give em a call. Nothing for sale yet but the prototypes are staggeringly good.

Mike, good to see you too mate. As for Nige' he was/is great. Real nice fella. I even gave him some bore oil when I went back.
Figured exactly what these amps are perfect for. That Are You Experienced sound. They just drip it. More accurate than I've heard any Marshall do it any way.
I'm still dreaming of that clean sound winding up to what would be considered in modern circles, a tame drive sound.

I'd love to hear the 5W with 12" speaker version. Don't know what kind of tone circuit he's going for but that is the sweet spot for my next amp.

Great! I think I liked Hendrix' Berkeley Shows tone the best of all - some of which made
it onto Hendrix in the West.
