Hi all,
I'm the very proud owner of a new American Deluxe Strat, maple neck, 2-tone sunburst, V-profile neck. It's my first Strat! It's taken a few decades, but I finally got one :D

Quick question- does anyone know what strings are factory fitted on this guitar?

I believe the strings they put on in the factory are USA, Nickel Plated Steel, Gauges: .009, .011, .016, .024w, .032, .042

Cheers!
BM

Welcome. As noted above, 9's are the generic strings unless your talking the vintage years for which 10's are installed and considered period correct. I've been playing Strats since '58. What took you so long??

Welcome!

I am new here myself. Pull up a stool, plug in, and turn the volume to 11...

I am a Fender Deluxe owner myself and the 9's are the bullocks!

...o..los mas feo, creo??
I have the Gilmour hybrid set on my MIA FSR Deluxe VG because the guitar has baritone voice which I wanted the heavier 6.5.4 strings for. The others are strung with 10's: Gilmour, Clapton, '57VHR, and LP. BTW: that's a terrific and very unusual finish on a Stratocaster there.

First thing I did, not understanding the locking tuners, was loosen two of them- ping! Two strings gone. None in the shops, and couriers taking four days to deliver on next-day delivery service- torture.
However, now up and running again. Here it is:

Not sure if the body is 2-piece or 3 piece- there is one joint clearly visible, but if there is another it is very well matched.
