Hey,

I am thinking of looking at this guitar. Can someone tell me if they were good build quality and how much would it be worth? Plus i live in Australia and everything here is expensive! Might have to work out some kind of conversion.

I used to have a HW1 2009 and it was good, best I have played is the 2004 HW1 as it was lighter and more playable although did not have quality pickups.

Those weren't really a special edition; they were just the 1994 American Standard Strat with the little medal on the headstock and the special logo on the neck plate.

Here in the USA they don't go for any more than either a 1993 or a 1995 American Standard; and the build quality would be comparable to either. Here they would go for the typical $600-ish.

Value wise, it's no different then an American Standard. That little decal just marked the anniversary year...
