Heads up everyone, the new Fender tweed cases are no longer made in USA by G&G. They are now made in Viet Nam. They also no longer have a single rivet anywhere as far as I can tell. Every single rivet has been replaced by a little screw, that I have to believe will tend to loosen and probably fall out at some point. They also reek inside of chemicals, causing one to wonder what the wood is underneath the foam. I just waited 2.5 months to take delivery on a new guitar and a new bass case from a reputable supplier, and am now disappointed. I would not have bought them if I had seen them first. Alas, another casualty of world economics.

G&G still makes cases for G&L. You can still buy them, its just Fender may be cutting costs.... The heavy duty flight case they provide for MIA standards are really nice.

There are even screw heads protruding from the metal feet on the bottom and side, making the screw to point of contact, not the feet.
