Ive been thinking of selling a couple of my strats and a telecaster to fund getting a new guitar. I haven,t made up my mind yet but I have an idea. So 1 of the guitars is a 2006 Jimmy Vaughan with Fat 50,s. I go up to my music room to play it to make sure everything is ok to sell and ended up playing for about 1/2 an hour and now Im not going to sell it. I like it to much. Now im screwed I want a new guitar and can,t sell any of the ones I have. I guess I have to save up my pennys for a new one.

Have you checked out American Musical Supply? Currently, they have 3,5, and 8 x payment plans with 12 pay plans popping up here and there. On the 3 pay plan, up to $994.00, there's no credit check if you have a bank account and debit card!

I second the recommendation for AMS. I've been using them for years now and have always had good experiences.

Its going to be something from the Custom Shop. More than likely a Masterbuilt strat of some sort.

Dayaaam, I was pretty close! Not to steer you away from a CS 335, but I have played a couple over the years, and didn't really see much if any difference from thier regular 335's. Nothing wrong with having a good 335. My collection includes a good 335, Les Paul, a Strat and a Esquire for a very good reason...those are the "Four Major Food Groups" when it comes to guitar tones...IMHO! So if you want to cover all the bases have one of each of those, and then find a good guitar with a set of P-90s and you are completly covered!!!!

Thats kinda what ive been thinking 1 of each. I have to many of the same and I don,t get along with telecasters at all I do like my esquire I built though. The 335,s with the slim necks I like alot. I used to have a BB king that I sold I didn,t like the rotary switch

I also have a 61 SG Reissue...now you want to talk about a thin neck, they don't come any thinner...

T2 I love the neck on the 61 RI. I got rid of my SG standard because of the neck and have always want to get the 61. If they made that 61 RI with P90,s I would jump right on it.

The necks on the 60's Les Paul Studios with P-90's are pretty small...and if I can talk Mrs T2 into it, that might be my next purchase (in Honeyburst of course).
