IMHO, the 'Blacked-out' look has been overdone...

Everything from Watches, Cars, Kitchen appliances, Sunglasses to Guitars have been Blacked-out to Death.

It's become sort of Cliché... definitely unimaginative.

'Course if you like it...

cheers!

Black for sure, it goes well with the wood grain, and the pups.
+1 Absolutely :!: :!:

That grain is beautiful. Is it African mahogany?

Thanks! It's a 1 piece koa body. It's almost a shame... Suhr or Anderson would have made tops for a dozen guitars with that blank, but if someone had to have it, I thought it should be me! ;)

Your Showmaster is chok full of Reb Beach vibe.

If you put a set of EMGs you'll be able to nail his tone. :)

Nooooooo! I was trying to escape that! On the Jackson Forum, my guitar was called the Reb Beach Ukelele! lol

I actually love EMGs, but I wouldn't put them in there... However, I'm still considering a Super Distortion in there though.

Yeah, I don't disagree, but gold hardware was just too blingy for me and it was too Reb Beach. I wanted to make it my own and changed the hardware to showcase and highlight the wood selection, not blind people with gold trim.

Plus... it's your guitar...

cheers!
