This may have been posted before but I just recently discovered it. It's a 36 part youtube series of a strat build using Warmoth Parts. The amount of detail this guy goes into is impressive. I learned a lot.

Part One

Excellent find, mhowell! Thanks for sharing.

Indeed, the amount of detail is impressive and I think these videos will be of interest not only to those who are planing to build a Strat but to anyone who plays one. Just watched the first two episodes and plan to watch the rest but it will take a while to get through all thirty-six :!:

Cheers!

I was also thinking about a Warmoth build. But he took a long time working the frets. I don't know if it was needed or just great attention to detail. But that pretty much ended the thoughts for me. I don't have the time or money for all the new tools for major fret work.

Thanks for this. Just watched episode 1 and am intrigued to follow the whole thing. Heck, it beats watching television if I can learn something new about my instrument.
