Nice. I put a white pearl pickguard on my Chrome Red American Series Strat ... similar look as yours then!

Did you gloss out the satin finish? That would be a nice touch if you haven't.

Looks good! Kinmans totally noiseless and sound like single coils as advertised?

The pups and the wiring are the only thing I left stock. ALL the hardware and plastic is now black.

Chet....your web page shows you with a white guitar, same powerplant as the black one. Very esthetic. Do you favor that combo?

Doc.

Wow, I would never think of putting black knobs on that guitar- but they look really sharp! Very nice man.

Picture in your mind an SRV Artist Series Stratocaster with all black pick guard, p'up covers, and controls, and underneath all of that dress-up, a Clapton with SCN pickups.

That's my CS Stratocaster.

The White one is a 1986 MIJ Fender '71 RI Strat with the 3 bolt neck. The pickups are WCR SR's and the wiring is RSGuitarworks Premium Wiring Harness.
I like the all black and the black and white combo.

I've already posted these in the "Start Pictures Post" but maybe they'll feel more at home here...

Started as a 2007 HSS Highway One. Added Custom Shop '54 pickups, aged white accesories kit and a mint green pickguard.
