That guy's I.Q. must be equal to the ambient temperature. Let's hope it's not a Nitro finish !

At least he has it on a stand, not sitting in the snow.

Hopefully, it wasn't in the cold for too long.

cheers!

I DO like the picture. I think the Strat will survive - there's a clear sky and the sun looks to be shining. It could be 50 degrees or better.

Not as bad to me as hauling my guitars and gear to gigs in Minnesota when it was 20 below zero. Yeah, I did it a lot.

When John Mayer first got his custom strat from the fender shop, he stuck in the freezer overnight

That's not as bad as seeing a guitar laying on concrete or asphalt.

Actually I would assume this was afrter it snowed the last week of November here (this guy's location is all of 10 miles away from me) It was back in the mid to high 4o's the very next day

It's not a nitro guitar so no issues with the finish cracking. It's "just" a MiM standard. For argument's sake, are these really so fragile that the can't handle a 5 minute photoshoot outside in the cold?

I'm sure the guitar is fine. It's more the fact that many of us are protective of our gear and would be pulling our hair out if it were infact one of our own guitars in that situation.

Ya I have seen people advertise their guitar on uPay by laying them on a wood porch or on a a cement floor. Like I would buy a guitar from someone who would take a nice instrument and show it that way. At least this guy has the guitar on a stand and if in and out side really quickly, it would not hurt anything. But the way people take pictures tell us a lot more about the person than the guitar sometimes!
