hello~

i am thinking about getting a strat deluxe ash or a tele 52 vintage hot rod, but i still cannot make a decision....i used cheap guitar lol and it is the first time i get a usa made guitar, hope someone here would give me some advice

i play some blues, rock and some pop music.
i like the look of a tele but i love the neck of a strat, bending string is so easy on them.(i had an unfair comparision in guitar store, the string on the strat was like new, and that on the tele had a little rust on it and look like play for monthsss)
Yes, i love guitar made of ash :P
one thing i dont like the strat is the tremelo, i dont have a guitar with a tremelo b4 and i think it is not necessary for me. also i think replacing string and tuning would be more difficult than a guitar without tremelo?(dont know lol)
why this tele is on my list? coz i really like the design of it and i always want a tele.
i know both of them are great guitar, but i just cannot make a decision.

oh forgot one thing....can i lock the tremelo if i dont need it?? and make it like a guitar without tremelo?

The deluxe Strat and AVRI '52 Tele are both fine guitars; there's no going wrong with either choice. Don't let the trem discourage you on the strat. For what it's worth my strat stays in tune better than my tele, and I never bother to use the whammy. String replacement is the same as any guitar.

You can indeed block the trem if it bothers you.

I personally could not be without either of my strat of tele. They each possess qualities that I like. You could always get one of them now, and another down the road.

I've owned both a Strat Deluxe and the Tele '52 Vintage Hot Rod. My only complaint about the Strat is the S1 switching. I never liked the sounds I got with it engaged and the switch broke after about 6 months of very sparing use. I sold it.

I couldn't be happier with the Tele and I still have it.
