You posted this in the lounge forums lol. It's all about your opinion. I don't really know the best, but my favorite probably has to be the American Deluxe.

I think it's just a matter of personal choice. What I like, someone my hate. My choice is an American Deluxe, which I recently purchased. Pretty much had the money to get whatever I wanted (except a custom shop....I'm not worthy.......). But of all the strats I saw.........I liked the American Deluxe.

I'm happy with my American Deluxe which you can see in my signiture graphic. Everything about it, especially the neck and the bridge/tremolo are beautifully crafted.

I guess I'll answer you here too.

The Eric Johnson strat is the finest production model strat ever.

American Standards are pretty good now - so worth the money.

I have a 2002 standard and I love it. It was the guitar that brought me over to fender so I stand by it 100%

Of course, my favorite one is the one I bought - a wine transparent Highway One (polished by playing so it's buffed out and really transparent) upgraded with five springs in the trem, and most of all Custom Shop Texas Specials. Mmmm mmmm good. I'm on a budget and all this was on sale.

I've recently become fascinated with the American Deluxe HSS flame maple top. First, it's beautiful. Second, it's noiseless. Third, imho the "single coil" SCNs sound decent in the bridge and mid, but not so good in the bridge. The dh-1 is a Duncan humbucker that's good. Can always swap the other two after giving them a chance. Most of all, these guitars are unreal beautiful.

Well it depends how long youve been playing for, from the spelling im guessing not too long. I'm pretty sure that you should go for a standard HSS Strat. Its easy to play, affordable, and perfect for anybody from beginning to years about. its only about 400 bucks at a local guitar center, if you want to go cheaper theres squier ones like 200 and below, but i highly suggest the 400$ fender strat.
