Hey guys, I picked up a used MIM strat about 2 years ago and it's in pretty good shape as far as the body goes, but the electronics are shot (it's from 95 and has been modded by it's previous owner a lot more times than it probably should have been). So basically, I'm trying to find a good humbucker for the bridge, and a nice single coil for the neck (the middle pickup was replaced right before I bought it...for some reason). I'm gonna leave all of the wiring and more technical decision to my tech, but I'd really appreciate y'alls input as far as what pickups I should look into getting.

I play blues, classic rock, as well as garage rock, so clean tones are important, but i need to make sure that it won't get too muddy when it's really cranked up.

I really like warmer tones rather than brighter ones, I'd like the humbucker to be something that will take distortion well and as far as the neck pickup...idk...fendery? something all hendrix-like would be cool.

Don't know if any of that helps but regardless, any suggestions help because I know jack-s**t about all this stuff.
