Hello
I have a MIM 1995 strat . It is all black- body, pickguard, pickups, knobs, switch and wammy. It has HSS pickups. It has a volume and a tone knob then where the third knob is it has a 2 position switch. On the front of head stock it says Fender Stratocaster only. On the back of the headstock is where the serial number and the Made in Mexico is. Were all the fat strats this way or is it custom. I bought it from the original owner he said he never learned to play it. I don't think he did any mods on it.
Thanks
Jim

i'm pretty sure it's deluxe series. and i'm pretty sure it's already modified (the mid tone control turn into 2 mini switch)

Hello All
I found out about my guitar. It was made Sept 95 and it is a Stratocaster Special. It was made witha 2 way switch in place of the third knob. The switch splits the humbucker.
thanks
Jim
