Definitely Ash .....it has striking grain

Thank you :) It looks so much better in person. I also realized the camera didn't pick up the parchment color on the pickguard, knobs or on the back plate. The thing is like mint except one tiny scuff thinner in width and smaller than half the length of a tooth pick ,but you can''t even see it unless your like going over it with a fine tooth comb lol

Why thank you :) Like I've said before the only thing I'd want over this would be an American Deluxe Telecaster. I would trade for one of those in a heartbeat lol That's just the perfect guitar to me.

Hello, I buy a MIM classic 50s because I can change what I want on it but apart from the pick-up, I did not change anything else and yet I play a varied repertoire

I buy second hand for € 250 this Strat pickups and 57/62 second hand for 120 € by selling microphones origins, I have the ideal guitar to my repertoire. I change the configuration selector for the Neck and Bridge 4 position starting from the Bridge, I love it!

Yeah you want to keep it like it is will serve you better. Thats a beautiful Standard man
I run a Humbucker in the bridge of both my American Deluxe and My Highway One.
I play classic rock like Deep Purple Hendrix Zeppelin KISS Aerosmith and more modern Like BLS Slash and Godsmack.
That stock standard has got it all mellow to scream its a dream.

Yeah I'm gonna leave it alone in case I ever need to sell it or trade it. Best to leave it alone not only for the sound ,but the value :) I love how is sounds with the HSS configuration :D I do want a SSS though lol

I never got a bridge Single Coil to sound right on Rock. I have always put in either a single coil sized humbucker or a full sized one. My first real guitar was a 76 strat just like Gilmours.
I put a Dimarzio in it 32 years ago and I never stopped. On clean stuff I find the middle and neck are all you need. Thats just me though.

Ah I like leaving stuff stock :) I think I just really like the look of the SSS just because it's classic and the default look of the Strat. I also hear a lot of good stuff about Dimarzio I don't think I've heard a bad thing about them.
