I'm about to pull the trigger and get a Deluxe Players Strat. Sweetwater and Zzounds has them right now for $599. I tried to do a thread search here about them with no luck. All thoughts and impressions are wanted please. Maybe some pics of your Deluxe players. Thanks in advance.

I have one, got it last year for $250, and then replaced the neck with a 1985 MIJ.
and then upgraded the tuners to the American. stays in tune for weeks.
i replaced the neck because i like the MIJ's thinner early 80's style.
it's all in what you like, and if your happy, and it plays the way you like, that's all that matters. oh the pups are very quite, and sound great, and also gets a nice dirty sound if you have a good amp. very versatile guitar.
