Anyone out there use the Allparts "Bullet" jack tightener on your Strat?
Looks like a good product - and inexpensive...only $15.

Removing the jack plate, holding on to the back of the jack and tightening the nut with a socket wrench costs nothing.

The bullet is mainly used on hollowbody guitar types where it is difficult getting the jack to stand still while rotating the nut. It is very good for those types. I usually jam a piece of 1/4 inch dowel in the hole to do the same thing.

For solid body guitars - the jack is usually accessible via a cover or plate.

Yes, I have one. Nice to toss in your case. Nice to have if you have a loose jack at a gig and don't have tools or don't want to tear your guitar apart at that time. Works well on a strat too.

I use Loctite (purple) on the output jack nuts as well as the nuts on Schaller strap locks. Works for me 8) .

What about the red or yellow Loctite? The reason I ask, is that I have those at home, but no purple.

I never used the red or yellow, don't really know how that would work. I use the purple because you can still take things apart without too much effort.

I suggest the blue version as the red is for more permant locking. Blue can be broke loose without any problems.
