Just wondering if any of the very nice Fender guys knew of any possible delivery dates for Deluxe strats ( Lefty Maple) being sent to the UK?

Regards....Mike

Hi FGA,

Having contacted countless shops in the UK, no one appears to have any Deluxes at all, let alone lefties. There's basically no new ones available in the country.

Fender UK seems to waiting for a shipment from the US.

Regards....Mike

C'mon you nice gentlemen at Fender, can you improve on the guys in the UK?

I've tried contacting the team at Fender UK but they either don't know when the Deluxes will arrive or just can't be bothered replying to emails.

Seems to be Fender in general then, no one bothers to reply.

You might try buying one from an American Site like musiciansfriend.com or something like that. Thats about the only suggestion that I can offer.

I only wish I could buy direct from Musicians Friend, they're about half the price of the cost in the UK.

I think Fender only allows them to sell within the US.

My main gripe is that neither Fender UK or the parent company in the US will reply to any emails about the dates for shipping. Either they don't know when the guitars are due or can't be bothered with customers asking questions.

Great guitars but poor customer relations for me.

Regards....Mike

Just reading the Musicians Friend site I found a beautiful 50th Anniversary Deluxe Strat for a lefty. Something I'd dearly love to own.

Unfortunately it seems they are not allowed to ship Fenders to the UK, other brands are fine though.
