A complete shielding job (cavity and the back of the pickguard) will help.

The easiest way to get rid of that hum is to get either Lace sensors or Noiseless pickups. If you want to keep your pickups you could use this tape to shield your guitar body and pickguard.

The shielding helps but it will not help as much as the pickups I mentioned.

“Quieting The Beast” as it’s been dubbed over at GuitarNuts.com, is a modification that not only provides for thorough shielding of your Stratocaster’s pickup and control cavities, but also some minor rewiring of the electronics in order to remove all ground-loops.
