Hey guys,

As the title says, I need a replacement volume pot for my 2011 American Strat. What would be a good quality pot and what value do I need? Would a Switchcraft 250K do?

If you're wondering why I need a new pot for such a relatively new guitar, let's just say I was putting on a rockin' show and there's nothing for my volume knob to attach to now.

Buy a fender replacement pot , 250 K Audio , the shaft should fit to your knob. See a Fender Dealer or web.

IMO Switchcraft don't sell pot.

You talk about volume pot but I see your pickup switch knob removed ?????

Thanks. From my research, Fender uses SMT pots. Maybe someone can confirm this before I buy a pot.

The pickup selector switch was knocked off and banged up in the process. The volume know was knocked off and one of the split poles to the pot was bent. When I went to bend it back, it broke off.

Correct. CTS pots. An SMT pot is a surface mount pot used in printed circuit boards. Certainly not used in guitars.
