Bonjour,
I'm the owner of a MiM STRAT?serial nbMZ5191868,and after looking in the Fender's datation chart,does anybody can help me to find the year of product,the wood(it seams to be alder from chart)an so and.Thanks.JJfrom France.

Hi jeanjacques: the only thing we can tell from the serial number is that your Mexican guitar was made in 2005-2006.

If Rob Schwarz of Fender happens to look in he can tell you more from their database. Otherwise, if you'd like to post photos of the guitar the rest of us might be able to give more information.

I would also suggest you send an e-mail with the serial number to consumerrelations@fender.com and the good folks there will send you a spec sheet for your guitar.

JJ, the serial number tracks back to our part number 013-5102-325 Fender std Tele Maple Neck Chrome Red with a gig bag, completed 2/17/2006 and shipped to a dealer in Michigan USA 3/23/2006. Here's the specifications. Hope that helps.

To Mr Rob Schwarz ,thank you for your accurate answer ,but I'm sorry the guitar i'masking informations is a STRATOCASTER ,3 color sunburst SN:MZ5191868.The problem is that i've not the same number of digits as described in the chart,so my difficulties.
