Fender American Standard Hand-Rubbed Ash Stratocaster HSH rosewood fingerboard and the HSS models SRV etc. How is it to use the Reverse Trem
on those SRV's.

I was playing the HSH and it sounds pretty nice. But could I get a SRV
sound out of it if I need to. Is there that much diffrence

I mostly play HSS formatted Stratocasters and I get VERY convincing position 2 quack out of them.
IMHO....a Stratocaster's most memorable/identifiable tones are found in positions 2 through 5. The single coil bridge pickup does nothing for me!
Step outside the "box".......don't be afraid!!

Trying to coax Single coil Strat tone out of a Humbucker is tough. Kind of like trying to get a steak at McDonald's - the ingredients are there, just different.

Than again SRV tone is more boutique and modified amps with heavy strings and pedals, than it is pickups. What ever you like best is what I would get for you.

A Strat's bridge single-coil gets massively more versatile once it's hooked up to the middle pickup's tone control (preferably a notched no-load pot): dial the tone back a bit, add grit, and you'll get a pretty good approximation of an overdriven humbucker tone without any drastic output mismatches and without any tonal compromise in switch position #2.
