2011 - 2012 American Standard

Hi Everyone, i recently purchased an american standard lefty stratocaster ,built in November 2011, serial number starts US11XXXXX the neckplate says limited edition but i dont think it has the fat 50's pickups ,, i was wondering what makes it a "limited edition" Thank You

I cannot tell you why it is a Limited Edition. If you posted picks of the guitar, someone might be able to identify why it is a limited edition. I know my 2011 American Standard has Tex Mex pickups.

Maybe yours is a color that was not common for the series or has different electronics than the stock ones. ??????

Thanks for the info Fender Friends,,, next week sometime when i change out the strings i will open it up see under the hood so to speak and also take some pictures ,,
