I should enter to this select strat promo but for some reason or other that Australia is not eligible due to regional restrictions???

Its probably some sort of law or regulation that Austraila has in regards to contests and lotteries etc.

Hi jimhales9: Brad, our Forum Admin and Fender Director of IT, has explained to us the issue about this. The laws governing commercial promotions and competitions are significantly different in most countries. Fender operate in dozens of countries and it would be an appalling headache to make their promotions compatible with all the laws of all of them. So they don't: they keep Fender US promotions only for people within that country.

Where I live in the UK Fender Europe also run their own promotions for us (as do our own manufacturers, such as Marshall and others). Perhaps Fender Australia run promotions for you? You could ask them. And there's always Maton...

So. Sad as it seems neither you nor I are going to be winning a Fender Select in a US-only promotion. Oh well, never mind.
