That's a nice guitar! As of recently I have developed a preference for Rosewood fingerboards on Strats and other Fender guitars. This one looks very nice, also together with the black body color. I am sure she plays real 'cozy' :P

Thanks :)

My typical fav the black/white, might try the olympic white strat with rosewood soon,

Just out of pure interest, would anyone say that american is noticeably different in sound compared to MIM
I was going to get an american strat but i decided, surely they don't sound that much different and so i decided to get a Mexican and put more money towards a better amp (Marshall of course) + I do have my Seymour Duncan i always equip them with.

Kind regards
Andy

Hi again Andy: well, putting in your own pickups takes one difference between MIM and MIA out of the equation right away.

I do very much like the two-point trem on the MIA, and I also think the rolled edges to the fingerboard feel excellent, so those are a couple things to think about. However, lots of people feel just the other way around - including me! As well as my MIA I also have "vintage" spec Strats, such as a '57RI, and get on with six-screw bridges and traditional type fingerboards and frets just fine. So none of this stuff is a deal-breaker: just detailed differences that may or may not matter to our ears and hands.

Meantime, you, me and Jeff Beck (amongst many others) think a Fender-into-Marshall is the bee's knees - what Marshall do you have?

Cheers - C
